1.1 Written Notice: All requests for cancellation or modification of a confirmed booking must be submitted in writing (via email) to our reservation team at info@novemecoresort.com or novemreservation@gmail.com.
1.2 Effective Date: The date of cancellation or modification will be the date the Resort receives the written request.
1.3 Modification: Booking modifications (date changes, room changes, etc.) are subject to availability and may be treated as a cancellation if the requested changes cannot be accommodated, thereby subjecting the booking to the cancellation charges outlined below.
Cancellation fees are calculated based on the total booking amount and the time remaining before the scheduled Check-in Date (3:00 PM).

2.1 Exceptions for Promotional Rates
Bookings made under special promotional offers, packages, or non-refundable rates are explicitly marked as such and may be subject to a 100% cancellation fee regardless of the notice period. Guests are advised to review the specific terms of the rate at the time of booking.
3.1 Refund Calculation: The refundable amount will be calculated according to the fee structure in Section 2, based on the amount already paid by the guest.
3.2 Processing Time: Once a refund is approved, the processing time will vary based on the payment method used: * Online Payments/Card Transactions: Refunds will typically be processed back to the original source (Credit Card, Debit Card, MFS Account) within 7 to 14 working days from the date of approval. * Bank Transfers/Direct Deposits: The refund will be processed via bank transfer within 10 to 18 working days. Guests must provide accurate bank account details in Bangladesh for this process.
3.3 Currency: All refunds will be processed in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT). For international payments, the amount received by the guest in their local currency may vary due to bank charges and currency exchange fluctuations, for which Novem Eco Resort is not liable.
A “No-Show” occurs when a guest fails to arrive for the reservation on the confirmed Check-in Date without prior written cancellation.
Penalty: In the event of a No-Show, the booking will be considered cancelled, and 100% of the total booking value will be forfeited. No refunds will be provided.
Novem Eco Resort is not liable for failure to provide services due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather, natural disasters, epidemics, government actions, war, or civil unrest (collectively, “Force Majeure”).
Resort Cancellation: Should the Resort be forced to cancel a booking due to a Force Majeure event, guests will be offered the option to reschedule the booking to a later date without penalty or receive a full refund of all monies paid.
This policy is written and enforced in compliance with the relevant laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, including the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009, and financial regulations related to transactions and refunds. All disputes related to this policy are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangladesh.
